Troubleshooting – I received an “upload_max_filesize” error

What is this error?

On rare occasions, when uploading the Elementor Pro plugin to your website, you may receive an upload_max_filesize error. This occurs when your website host has limited the size of files that you can upload to your site (this error can also occur when you try to upload media and other files to your site).

How can I solve this problem?

Your website contains a file called php.ini. Among other things, this file determines the maximum size of files you are allowed to upload.

In general, it is best to contact your hosting company and ask them to edit your php.ini file, allowing you to upload larger files.

Otherwise, you can edit the php.ini file yourself.
