After all the various year recaps, sales and celebrations, we’re back to our routine. I suspect it might be a little harder for us in the northern hemisphere, with the cold weather and gray skies, but in any case — to quickly brighten up and bring the color back to our cheeks and lives, why not enjoy some fresh and vibrant websites sent to us by you, Elementors.
In this month’s list, you’ll find digital agencies from around the globe — from the Philipines to Sweden, from Madrid to Chihuahua, Mexico. Also on the list: an Australian catering company, a Greek beauty company, and more.
Let’s check them out.

Kima Collective is a small studio based in Madrid, offering custom solutions for startups and new businesses, with a special focus on 360 projects ranging from photography, WordPress/Elementor development or branding, to packaging design, online and offline marketing solutions.
Their one-page site is very focused and efficient, unpretentious yet demonstrates their design capabilities. Pleasant pastel colors dominate the layout, then change upon scrolling. Paired with the beautiful Playfair font, it creates an experience pleasing to the eye. The font pairing creates a clear hierarchy in the text and makes reading easy.
The otherwise mundane flat illustrations come to life here using motion effects. The Contact Page is in fact a pop-up triggered by a cool icon in the upper right corner of the site. Simple, functional and creative.

Hailing from northern Sweden, Webbnord is a web studio that focuses on helping small to medium-sized companies with their website and branding solutions.
As befits their origin, the Webbnord website demonstrates the Scandinavian design approach — minimalist, simple, and functional. White and black control the layout, while the texts on the site are divided into two columns, one for the title and the other for the text (an approach reminiscent of print). The only actual color that can be seen on the website exists on the project pages, where each project has a color that represents it.

Mano is a company that provides professional makeup and beauty consulting services, located in Ioannina, North-Western Greece. It is run by Maria Kakaidi, a professional in the beauty industry with more than 25 years of experience.
Mano’s site conveys prestige by combining the colors gold and white, yet it demonstrates a modern design approach, in particular in the structure, with the visible grid lines. We loved the animated icons, as well as the illustrations that decorate the background and give it a delicate touch.

Jade Berger is the founder of the Melbourne-based catering company, Social Catering Co. Throughout her diverse 18-year career as a fully qualified chef, she’s worked across the spectrum of hospitality, from fine dining restaurants to bistros and wine bars.
Jane’s site feels as if it came straight out of a lifestyle magazine. The combination of two contrasting bright colors, together with a thin-weight sans-serif font, gives it a prestigious character. The use of subtle motion effects in the headlines gives the extra touch and refinement. The images are impressive, and they should be as the food is the main star here.

Colmena is a digital agency from Chihuahua, Mexico. Specializing in web development, branding, and digital marketing, they help their clients develop a unique, different, and fresh voice for their particular markets.
The people at Colmena decided to combine the bees and hives with the digital world. A very detailed image of a bee floating on the hero section welcomes the visitors, while the color palette is black and yellow, continuing the bee theme. The designer applied modern elements such as “broken-up words”, typography games throughout the site, and motion effects. Entrance animations in different locations add an overall playfulness to the site.

Red Five Digital is a family-run startup based in the business district of Southern Manila. Individual freelancers with years of experience working for small businesses in North America, Europe, and Australia – they fused into a well-oiled digital marketing machine.
This is yet another very focused and goal-oriented website, not trying to “flutter” with long, discouraging texts, everything is relevant. There is a slight retro atmosphere achieved by the long shadow titles. The menu is built as a sliding sidebar which also includes the contact and search bar option. By doing so the designer “spared” an entire page on the site and gave the visitor the option to search the entire site at any given time — smart and refreshing. We also liked the services section. The list of services displayed on the left side of the screen with each item on the list highlighted by animation, as the description of that service appears on the right. It’s an interesting way to view things, rather than reverting to a boring list with a simple hover.

Muddy River Design is a national award-winning drafting, home design, and house plans company from Bend, Oregon. It has developed an extensive library of plans and portfolio spanning properties, in premier local neighborhoods for the last 20 years.
There’s is a rural American look & feel to this site. This is reflected in particular, through the different fonts. Each home has its own unique font, as each home has its own character. The illustrations and stamps are also very traditionally American. The images have a subtle motion effect on hover, which encourage the visitor to click on the project. The color scheme of the site is not really important, as the colors are mostly obtained from the high-quality photos themselves.

The Halva kingdom from Mahane Yehuda Market in Jerusalem is a long-established family business that manufactures halva according to recipes passed down from generation to generation. Customers from all over the world enjoy a wide variety of over 100 types of halva.
The most visible thing on the site is the large, high-quality studio photos of halva. They, more than anything else, illustrate and stimulate the visitor’s senses on the site. The colors chosen by the designer are complementing milky colors.
The overall design has a handcrafted vibe, the result of using custom fonts created by the designer herself. The transitions between the sections, as well as the picture frames, also look handcrafted. All of these elements emphasize the traditional handmade process of halva making.

Brand Blitz is a graphic design studio that helps creative entrepreneurs build and design their brand through branding and websites, coaching, and education.
Their site has a crafty, journalistic feel, with handcrafted illustrations, a cut-out technique reminiscent of the personalized DIY photo albums of teenagers. The bright color scheme keeps the visitors’ focus on compositions made up of images, illustrations, and different patterns, akin to the colorfulness of lifestyle magazines. The renderings for each image are different, adding more interest to the layout. The photos themselves are also Instagram-styled, providing a young, trendy look & feel.

Misha (Mikhail) is a multidisciplinary artist — graphic designer, web developer, creative director, and photographer — who took part in local and international projects in Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Mallorca, Argentina, France, Russia, and the USA. Born in the former USSR, he decided to try his luck and look for new horizons, moving to Europe. Misha’s work in the digital sector has been combined with a passion for photography for more than a decade, illustrating alternative events, and portraying musicians and artists.
In line with his background, rather than using a simple language plugin, Misha targets his audience in three different languages simultaneously, while building the design around it. He puts himself at the center as if he is the main project. The transition between projects on the project page feels like a transition between different worlds, where each project has its own unique color. The only line connecting them is the text that appears on the left, where Misha tells us about his part in the project.
The photos page managed to surprise us. Although this is a page dedicated to photo galleries, we actually come across a typographically designed page and when the visitor hovers over the text, the gallery’s main image is revealed to us — sort of a nice voyeuristic game, and a refreshing approach to presenting content in the world of photography.
