Hello, Elementors! As with the beginning of every month, we present our showcase, consisting of 10 beautifully designed websites built with Elementor. This month, the list includes quite a few talented web designers, as well as a prestigious real-estate project in the US, an exciting Canadian startup for a card-game, an innovative Spanish school, and more.

MHG Development is a small Australian creative agency offering web design, development, and hosting services. Set up as a freelance business three years ago by Mitchell Gravina, it has recently expanded to a team of 3.
Their new website displays a pleasant simplicity, which connects with the message “We make it simple.” The site structure is basic and clear, the design is clean and unpretentious. It feels as if the site is giving us a glimpse of these guys’ sketchbook. The color is relaxing and welcoming. Exchanging the use of color where we would normally see drop shadows, together with choice of font and simple-line icons reinforces the innocent and honest “sketchbook” look.

IMO is an American healthcare software solution designed to plug into commonly used (often antiquated and difficult-to-use) EHR (electronic health record) systems. IMO’s Core solution creates an updated, user-friendly view of symptoms and clinical terms designed to be more intuitive for physicians and allows for more seamless identification of highly regulated medical “codes.”
The designer behind their new site chose a direction that is serious but approachable, and strong yet elegant. They opted for a clean white look, with floating geometrical lines in the background. The fusion of cold colors — green and purple — gives it a professional medical look & feel. As the visitors scroll, the images come to life as their borders rotate with the scroll action.

Established in 2005, CSQD is an award-winning boutique digital design agency from Victoria, Australia. Starting as a graphic design agency, they now deliver solutions for branding, design, web, and digital marketing.
Their website has a magazine layout with a color palette that provides colorfulness and even a sense of luxury. The selection of refined fonts is reminiscent of popular lifestyle magazines. There is a clear hierarchy of content; the project pages are detailed and illustrate the workflow interestingly using visuals, video, and animations.

Mammoth Sports Construction is an American company, installing synthetic turf, as well as constructing playing fields for schools and athletic complexes.
The design of their site is appropriately very sporty thanks to varied elements such as the monochromatic image processing that highlights the message and the painted yard lines on the grass serving as a background. To create a flow between the sections, the designer used simple lines as reoccuring elements to help connect the sections. The superimposed title over the hero image creates the illusion of depth and motion, adding a dynamic dimension.

Barrel Marketing is a Calgary-based marketing agency that focuses on video and content marketing, to better showcase the portfolio of assets.
The theme of their site is influenced by Roy Lichtenstein’s pop art of the 1960’s. The dotted patterns in the background and some of the images are borrowed from the good old newspaper printing technique (rasterization), the color scheme is based on three strong colors, dominating each section or image. The illustrations are a collage of images from 60’s fashions to last years’ hipsters culture, targeting a variety of potential clients. The fonts and titles are clearly borrowed from comic books, and the motion effects only add that extra “pow!”.

Mordi Levi is a freelance designer and illustrator, and a digital nomad traveling the world with his wife and 8-month old baby girl. He created a portfolio website showcasing his abilities, skills, and also telling his story.
Mordi’s site is characterized by a proper distribution of color — each project has its own dominant color to set it apart. Primitive geometrical shapes float on top of a black background thanks to the mouse tilt effects, creating an “outer space” feel. We loved the clear and inspirational message: “I love finding creative solutions for visual problems.”

Envy Pompano Beach is a new luxurious apartment community offering uniquely designed apartments for rent in the heart of downtown Pompano Beach, Florida.
The hero image welcoming visitors appears to be a water-colored painting, when in fact, it is a simulation of the project. The creative use of watercolors throughout the site helps to illustrate its proximity to the sea, but beyond that, it gives an artistic and prestigious touch to the project, and helps to brand it as luxurious. As if to say: this is what you get when lifestyle meets art. Making us all a little envy.

Slobodan Zdravkov is an experienced UI/UX designer and front-end developer, with over 10 years of experience in web design.
His portfolio site is a fascinating play of contrasts between transparent and opaque, and color, in addition to the constant motion achieved with vertical scroll and tilt effects. Standing above all is the excellent menu, which demonstrates Slobodan’s high design and coding capabilities.

Colegio Reggio is a pioneering school for children, primary, secondary and high-school students in Madrid, that opened in September 2017. At Reggio school, they employ a unique educational method, based on the pedagogy at the schools of Reggio Emilia (Italy), similar to the Montessori method. This new method encourages students to ask questions, and proposes a space for experimentation and discovery through emotions.
Their site is not at all typical of educational institutions that we have seen before. It presents a design approach taken from modern design magazines. The photos show sophisticated photoshop editing, again — typical of design sites. They are also decorated with line icons, creating a young trendy look. The vertical scroll effect displaying the age categories threw us back to designs for music festivals. The color hover effect spruces it up even more.
There is no clear grid for the entire site, perhaps to reflect on the school’s vision of operating in an unconventional and “square” approach that follows the traditional education.
There is a bright and joyous color and attention to detail. Even the nutrition and architecture pages, potentially boring, show a creative use of various plugins and widgets to present the info in a fun way. Judging by their site, studying at this school is a true experience.

“Tickle Bear Games” is a Canadian startup with a vision of creating fun and memorable tabletop games that not only appeal to board game enthusiasts but also to casual gamers and families alike.
The website they submitted is a landing page/introductory portal and future Kickstarter campaign for their first project — a card game called “Somewhere Under the Rainbow.” It is a mobile-first design, while the desktop version playfully gives people the resizing guideline to access the mobile version from their desktop.
The artwork is one of the key components of the game, so the website heavily focuses on the visual aspects. No doubt they took their concept to the edge, with Nicholdeon-style artwork depicting strange and amusing animals moving from scene to scene. This site has everything children and grownups look for in a game: it is entertaining, enticing and pure fun.
