I’ll introduce you to the new Elemental
star rating widget this widget is great
for displaying rankings by reviewers for
things such as films restaurants hotels
and more the star rating widget lets you
add star ratings to different elements
of the page letting you add social proof
of consumer opinions which has become a
necessary part of the user experience so
let’s dive in for this tutorial I’ll be
working on this page our setup before
now let’s drag in the star rating widget
go ahead search for it and drag it into
the column let’s go over the many
settings you can use to customize the
rating widget to your liking first off
in the content tab we can control the
rating by selecting the rating scale
there are two options a scale of 0 to 5
and 0 to 10 after choosing your desired
scale you can go ahead and enter your
number in the rating field below the
icon option offers two types of design
to choose from font awesome and Unicode
I am leaving it on the default setting
the unmarked style has two options solid
and outline solid fills in the unmarked
stars and the outline option leaves them
empty I’ll set it to outline cool in the
title option you can type your design
text it will appear to the left of the
stars the alignment setting allows you
to position the star rating widget
relative to the column there are four
options align left center right and
justify now let’s go over to the style
tab here we can customize the title as
well as the star settings in the title
drop-down we can set the typography
color and the gap go ahead and style the
title to your liking the gap slider
determines the distance between the
title and the stars in the Stars
drop-down we can control the size of the
stars as well as the spacing between
each one we can also set the Cal
of the stars that are marked as well as
the unmarked stars as you can see this
widget is very versatile and allows you
to customize and create multiple and
unique designs well that’s it
