We have finally launched the ‘Hello’ theme in the WordPress repo. We built Hello so you never have to worry about themes again.
In this tutorial we’ll learn how to install ‘Hello’ theme, create a landing page, and test it for speed, total page size, and requests.

we’re gonna go the elementals hello
theme hello theme is a free wordpress
theme in fact it’s a plain vanilla and
lightweight starter theme
specially made for elemental page
builder and will always be compatible
with it to install it via your wordpress
dashboard go to appearance themes add
new and in the search field type hello
click install and now activate and
that’s it
another way to install it is via the
WordPress repository so go to
wordpress.org themes and in the search
field type hello
now click download to download the theme
to your computer in your WordPress
dashboard go to appearance themes add
new upload theme click on choose file
and choose the file you just downloaded
then go ahead and click install now now
activate and that’s it now you have
hello theme installed on your WordPress
website now let’s create our first page
and the pages click add new give it a
title and click Edit with Elementor as
you can see Hello theme doesn’t come
with a header or footer it’s a lightning
fast start a theme which is also perfect
for landing pages let’s create one now
click on the settings cog and in the
page layout drop-down choose elemental
canvas let’s choose a template from our
library click yes and check it out
you’ve created a landing page now let’s
test our first Hello theme is by testing
it for speed total page size and
requests enter the URL here and here are
the results
awesome now let’s change the theme we’re
using to the 2019 theme which is the
default WordPress theme let’s test it
again as you can see it’s slower heavier
and uses more requests all right

now if you want to add a nifty header or
footer to your website you can easily do
it with elemental pros theme builder I
have Pro installed here so I can easily
add a header by going to library blocks
and search for a cool header over here
as you can see we have many header
templates to choose from let’s go with
this one and voila it’s done get hello
